    About the Role

    As our Regional Patient Access & Healthcare Operations Supervisor, you'll Lead the patient journey from referral through admission. You'll oversee patient intake, insurance authorizations, care coordination, and operational workflow for our growing Home Dialysis program.

    Working closely with physicians, nurses, referral sources, insurance companies, and administrative teams, you'll ensure patients move efficiently through insurance verification, authorizations, clinical readiness, and admission into our Home Hemodialysis (HHD) and Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) programs.

    You'll also facilitate daily operational meetings, monitor patient throughput, identify delays, and help remove barriers before they impact patient care.

    Key Responsibilities

    Manage the patient referral-to-admission pipeline

    Coordinate patient intake and admissions from start to finish

    Verify insurance eligibility and benefits

    Obtain and track prior authorizations

    Collaborate with physicians, nurses, billing, and intake teams

    Monitor patient throughput and resolve delays quickly

    Facilitate daily operational pipeline meetings

    Maintain accurate patient tracking tools and documentation

    Escalate barriers that could delay patient admissions

    Support regional operational performance and patient satisfaction

    Required Qualifications

    2+ years of experience in healthcare operations, patient access, patient coordination, case management, referral management, or patient intake.

    Experience with insurance verification, benefits eligibility, and prior authorization processes.

    Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new healthcare technology platforms.

    Experience using EMR systems and/or workflow management software.

    Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple patient cases while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong commitment to customer service.

    Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, referral sources, insurance companies, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

    Experience managing multiple concurrent patient referrals or admissions in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

    Must reside and have experience working in this capacity in the state of Florida.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience in dialysis, nephrology, home dialysis (HHD/PD), home health, hospital operations, or other healthcare operations.

    Experience in patient access, patient intake, referral management, care coordination, or patient throughput.

    Prior supervisory, team lead, or healthcare operations leadership experience.

    Experience coordinating care and collaborating with physicians, nurses, payers, referral sources, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

    Experience using Monday.com or similar workflow/project management software.

    Experience with Renvio, Baxter/Vantive eServices, or other dialysis-specific technology platforms.

    Familiarity with CMS ESRD Conditions for Coverage (42 CFR Part 494), QAPI processes, or other healthcare regulatory requirements.
