    Regional Property Manager - Midwest Commercial Portfolio - Base Salary to 120k/year - Chicago, IL

    • Our client is a midwest based commercial real estate firm that is looking to hire a Regional Property Manager that will work with their portfolio. The company has properties in a few states in the Midwest and looking for a Chicago based Regional Property Manager. The Regional Property Manager will work mainly onsite with an opportunity at hybrid and will have some travel away from Chicago. Expected travel to be roughly 20-30% of the time.
    • All properties are commercial ranging from office to industrial with some small retail. The properties are owned by the firm, this is not a third party management firm.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee all property operations including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and general maintenance
    • Conduct routine on-site property inspections to ensure properties are well maintained, and tenants are in compliance with lease terms and all applicable laws/regulations/ordinances
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, responding promptly to inquiries, requests, and service needs, and issuing communications as needed
    • Manage vendor relationships, including contracting and supervising services for maintenance, janitorial, landscaping, and other property needs
    • Maintain organized tenant and property records, both physical and digital, in compliance with company standards
    • Oversee staff not just locally in Chicago but other states as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate property management, plus management experience.
    • Strong understanding of commercial retail property operations, lease administration and financial reporting
    • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
    • Ability to travel as needed.

    Compensation:

    • Base salary in the 110k - 120k/year range.
