Regional Sales Executive – Organic & Natural Ingredients
Location: This role can be fully remote, with some occasional travel to our site in Lincoln, California as well as attendance at trade shows and other events.
Salary: Competitive for state - salary will be dependant on location, skills, knowledge and experience

The Role
This is a key role within the U.S. Sales Team, focused on developing new customer relationships while maximizing growth within existing accounts. You will act as a trusted commercial partner to customers across food & beverage, functional nutrition, and related sectors, helping them bring better products to market through intelligent ingredient sourcing and supply chain collaboration.
You will:
Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, building strong, long-term client relationships that drive sales and support new product development (NPD).
Drive growth of core commodity and strategic ingredient lines by deeply understanding customer needs, formulations, and end markets.
Leverage market intelligence and research tools to stay informed on trends, pricing dynamics, and emerging opportunities.
Identify and maximize sales opportunities by aligning customer needs with CCI’s ingredient portfolio and sourcing capabilities.
Respond to customer and prospect inquiries within 24 hours, providing timely, professional communication and holding responses when required.
Host regular phone and video meetings to nurture relationships and advance opportunities.
Research, identify, and proactively contact potential customers and decision makers.
Support and participate in marketing initiatives including trade shows, conferences, accreditations, and industry events.
Prepare and deliver presentations, sales decks, and product overviews.
Communicate new product developments and sourcing capabilities to customers.
Develop and present quotes, proposals, and tailored commercial solutions.
Produce quarterly territory reports and strategic plans for review.
Complete weekly activity reporting and monthly performance/logo board updates.

The Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring experience with ERP, CRM, and eCommerce systems, along with exposure to the natural, organic, or ingredient industries.
You will also demonstrate:
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong negotiation and commercial acumen.
High level of organization and attention to detail.
Comfort managing deadlines and multiple priorities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related tools.
Ability to balance long-term strategic initiatives with daily execution.
