    We're recruiting a Regional Sales Manager for our client’s acoustic panel wall systems. The ideal candidate will be experienced in calling on and selling into the Architecture & Design (A&D) community in Chicago.

    We seek individuals with a combination of sales experience, project management skills, and business development capabilities. Successful candidates will have a proven track record of engaging with dealers, designers, and the broader architecture and design community in the Chicago area.

    The successful candidate would have attended or regularly participating in NeoCon. This would be valuable to the success in this role, as it connects key players in the commercial design community, including designers, architects, manufacturers, and more. Also, someone with a strong sales background in the workplace, healthcare, hospitality, retail, education, public spaces, and government sectors within the FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) industry is also a significant advantage.

    Qualifications should include experience in the following areas:

    1. Finishes and Fixtures: Knowledge of acoustic panels, commercial flooring, and distinctive door handles.
    2.  Structural Components: Familiarity with essential materials, including windows, doors, and concrete.
    3. Lighting and Furniture: Experience with pendant lights and furniture designed for both unique and commercial applications.
    4. Specialty Items: Understanding of demountable walls, partitions, and project-sharing software.

    • Expertise in solutions related to acoustic products, specialty glass, ceiling systems, flooring systems, specialty door systems, and modular, prefabricated, or sustainable construction solutions.
    • Sales experience with contract furniture dealers, particularly those seeking new growth opportunities in wall and construction solutions.
    • A background as an acoustic consultant or engineer, or experience in sales within this field, with a keen interest in acoustics and a role in specifying architectural products and wall systems.

    The candidate will establish relationships with architectural and design (A&D) partners, direct sales partners, and dealers in the Chicagoland area. The role includes visiting general contractors and architects to increase sales and assisting dealers in their sales efforts for new projects. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite is required.

    The successful candidate will drive new business, support dealers, and manage direct sales. They will create and implement sales strategies for acoustic panel systems, identify new customers (both direct and dealers), conduct product presentations and demonstrations, and work with the team to develop sales support resources.
