Regional Sales Manager - Industrial Products - Base Salary to 100k/year - Seattle, WA
Our client is a well-established, privately held manufacturer with more than 100 years of success producing industrial products used in manufacturing, metal fabrication, construction, and industrial environments. They sell through distribution partners and directly to commercial end users and continue to invest in significant growth throughout North America.
They are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive revenue growth across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska by developing new business, expanding distributor relationships, and supporting end users throughout the territory.
Responsibilities:
Develop new business through prospecting, cold calling, networking, referrals, and relationship building with distributors, OEMs, contractors, manufacturers, fabricators, and industrial end users.
Manage and grow an assigned multi-state sales territory covering Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska with approximately 50-60% overnight travel.
Maintain and expand existing customer relationships while identifying and closing new business opportunities.
Sell industrial products into fabrication shops, manufacturing facilities, construction companies, industrial contractors, and production environments.
Partner with distributor sales teams to increase market penetration, generate demand, and support customer acquisition efforts.
Represent the company at trade shows, customer events, distributor meetings, and industry networking opportunities.
Utilize CRM software to manage sales opportunities, maintain account activity, forecast revenue, and monitor territory performance.
Prepare quotations, coordinate sales activities, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service.
Consistently achieve territory sales objectives through consultative selling and account development.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience selling industrial or manufacturing-related products into end users and distribution channels.
Experience calling on customers such as fabricators, manufacturers, contractors, industrial buyers, or production facilities.
Demonstrated success growing revenue within an assigned geographic sales territory.
Willingness and ability to travel overnight 50-60% throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska.
Must reside within one hour of Seattle, Washington.
Proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms, along with Microsoft Office.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
Compensation:
Base salary in the 85k - 100k/year range plus commission.
