Our client is a well-established manufacturer of industrial ventilation, dust collection, and air handling solutions serving a wide range of industrial and manufacturing markets. They are seeking a Regional Sales Manager based in the Dallas, TX area to manage and grow a multi-state dealer and distributor network throughout Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico.
Responsibilities:
Manage and grow an assigned multi-state territory throughout Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico
Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, cold outreach, networking, and relationship development with dealers, distributors, contractors, manufacturer representatives, and industrial end users
Maintain and expand existing dealer and distributor relationships while identifying opportunities for increased market penetration and revenue growth
Partner with channel partners to support sales growth, profitability, product positioning, and customer development strategies
Evaluate territory coverage and identify opportunities to add, develop, or improve dealer and distributor representation within the region
Conduct in-person customer visits, dealer meetings, product presentations, facility tours, and jobsite visits throughout the territory
Utilize CRM tools to manage pipeline activity, track opportunities, document customer interactions, and forecast sales activity
Coordinate with internal teams regarding quotations, lead times, customer requirements, project opportunities, and sales support needs
Maintain awareness of market trends, competitor activity, and opportunities within industrial ventilation, dust collection, air handling, and industrial equipment markets
Travel throughout the assigned region approximately 50–75%, including overnight travel as needed
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience selling industrial, manufacturing, mechanical, technical, or industrial equipment products through a dealer, distributor, manufacturer representative, or channel partner network
Demonstrated success growing revenue within an assigned multi-state sales territory
Experience developing new business through prospecting, relationship building, account management, and territory development
Experience managing dealer, distributor, manufacturer representative, or channel partner relationships
Mechanical aptitude and ability to discuss technical or industrial product applications with customers, distributors, and dealers
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability and willingness to travel throughout Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico approximately 50–75%
Compensation:
Total compensation for this role consists of a base salary in the 70k–75k/year range plus monthly commissions and quarterly and annual bonus opportunities. On-target earnings in the 140k–150k/year range
