    We are currently seeking to hire a Regional Sales Manager for our Kansas City home office to join our growing team of traffic solutions professionals! You will be responsible for calling on accounts, and overseeing, developing, and implementing sales programs to drive company revenue. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

    We are based in Kansas City, Kansas, and seek to hire someone that services customers in Missouri and Iowa. The position will require customer visits and jobsite visits from time-to-time.

    Responsibilities:

    Establish sales goals within management guidelines

    Develop and execute innovative sales strategies

    Analyze sales statistics to identify areas of improvement and make necessary adjustments

    Track results and trends regularly for business forecasting

    Present and demonstrate products and services relevant to the traffic control & safety market

    Travel to customer locations to complete sales calls as required. Overnight travel up to 50% of working time required

    Review and resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner as directed/required

    Build and form new partnerships with potential clients

    Assist warehouse and clerical staff with yearly inventory and occasional shipping/receiving needs

    Support customers in field and over email/phone

    Qualifications:

    Previous experience in sales, customer service, or related field

    Strong leadership qualities

    Ability to build rapport with clients

    Experience in traffic/transportation engineering/safety industry preferred

    Strong technical skills (computer use, presentations, field support)

    Must possess high school diploma or equivalent

    IMSA Traffic Signal Level 1/2 preferred, or must be able to obtain certification within 12 months of employment

    Some experience with low-voltage circuits preferred
