Elemental LED is an innovative, fast-growing company. We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) who is based in Chicago.
We are looking for candidates who have the drive, energy, integrity, and industry experience needed to excel in a competitive environment. Competitive candidates will be:

Key job functions include:
- Managing relationships with sales agencies to drive sales growth
- Assumes full management responsibility for all Regional Sales programs, services, and activities to grow our business by creating value for our customers and developing own territory
- Develops area sales network and pipeline
- Executes the Company’s sales plan in support of company goals and regional objectives
- Relationship manager for existing customers, playing an important role in developing and maintaining the company's image and reputation in the marketplace
- Assesses customer plans and requirements on an ongoing basis from a technical, business, tactical and strategic perspective
- Provides technical assistance with internal technical resources to existing customers to troubleshoot product issues
- Collaborates with the product development division
- Recommends new market/product development opportunities and needs
- Communicates special customization requests to the product division
- Identifies new sales opportunities to achieve sales expansion through a variety of prospecting activities, including networking, prospecting, conducting on-site sales calls, cold calling
- Follows up on sales leads received by the Company
- Converts prospects into sales by differentiating from the competition
- Develops, proposes, and takes proactive steps to build positive relationships with key business and industry leaders, partners, vendors, etc., while participating in trade shows, conferences, meetings, and any other community-based activities
- Provides timely and detailed information on market needs, buying trends, and competitive information
- Collaborates with marketing to develop a comprehensive strategic business plan for short and long-term
- Manages opportunities in order to meet or exceed annual sales goals
- Delivers and tracks performance metrics, trends, updates, and reports
- Manages complex, sensitive customer service issues and provides expert guidance in all aspects of order fulfillment
- Identifies opportunities for improvement and strategies to execute solutions within the existing business model and channels
- Travel and field training with customers, alongside reps
- Customer support and support to sales reps
- Serving as part of a cohesive, nationwide team of RSMs with the common goal of improving the company and delivering strong sales growth
The RSM will report to the Director, Regional Sales, West. Compensation is competitive with attractive upside potential.
