Job Description
Manage and oversee the District Sales Manager team to drive sales growth and retention. The role reports to the Director of Sales and is responsible for the profitable growth and market development of assigned territories while contributing to the growth of the overall business of Retail Direct. The Outside Sales Manager plays a crucial role in driving sales performance and executing market excellence strategies. Candidates that live in the following areas: Dallas, TX, Houston, TX, Little Rock, AR, St. Louis, MO, Memphis, TN, Nashville, TN, Jackson, MS, New Orlean, LA, Birmingham, AL, Atlanta, GA, Greenville, SC, Charlotte, NC, Raleigh, NC, Tampa, FL, Orlando, FL, Jacksonville, FL are preferred.
KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Grow sales by working with District Sales Managers on market leads, opportunities, and quote activity.
Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing and resolving concerns.
Develop, coordinate, and implement operational and strategic initiatives within the sales regions.
Develop District Sales Manager talent to support the business, identify ideal customers and grow sales.
Evaluate, develop, and support outside sales expansion to support Retail Direct.
Ensure the sale of products and services complies with proper pricing guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Analyze and report competitive market information.
Coordinate and establish market pricing for local markets in conjunction with District Sales Managers.
Assist District Sales Managers with customer pricing including large projects.
Effective recruitment, selection, development, leadership, management, retention and utilization of the District Sales Manager team.
Collaborate with sales leaders, e.g., Branch Manager, Regional Branch Managers, Sales Directors, within Retail Direct to drive growth.
Assist sales leadership and the District Sales Manager team in resolving customer concerns and complaints.
Effectively implement and execute company policies and processes.
Provide and ensure customer-focused activities, deliverables, and services.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent from four-year college or university; or Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome, online video conferencing software programs (Zoom, Teams, etc), Customer Relationship Management systems, and scheduling software.
Eligible Driver’s License, Valid Automobile Insurance, Credit card with an available credit limit to cover reimbursable business travel expenses.
Must be willing to travel an average of 50-75% of the time.
