Our client, a global leader in aluminum cast plate production, is hiring a Regional Sales Representative to join their team and drive business development.
This role allows you to work remotely from anywhere in the Western USA region (WA, OR, ID, CA, NV, AZ, NM, UT, CO, TX) while cultivating and expanding relationships with new and existing customers throughout the Western U.S. territory.
Key Tasks
Identify and engage new clients while growing and maintaining existing customer relationships.
Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, addressing customer needs and positioning product advantages.
Manage the Western U.S. territory, including travel planning, lead management, and meeting sales targets.
Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to strengthen position in aluminum cast plate solutions.
Deliver product demos, develop proposals, negotiate terms, and close contracts.
Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues quickly and coordinating with internal teams.
Maintain accurate CRM records of customer interactions, sales activity, and performance metrics.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred.
A minimum of 3-5 years of successful outside sales experience.
Metals industry experience
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive, technical environment.
Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and general technology adaptability.
Self-motivated and able to work independently, with excellent time management skills.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 60% throughout the Western US Territory by car or air
