  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    This role is responsible for operationally supporting our Regional Superintendent of Instruction, who oversees instruction, manages, and supports a portfolio of Principals! They will ensure efficient and effective support of academic programs and Principal development through strong communication, organization and event support!

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead communications with key stakeholders by writing and editing email correspondence and other written materials on behalf of the RSI
    • Ensuring the RSI's time is maximized by expertly running their calendar through prioritization of appointments, and arranging in-person and virtual meetings
    • Tracking, prioritizing, and holding accountable RSI and principals for tasks and project landmarks to ensure progress toward deadlines
    • Leading the preparation of meeting agendas, materials, and logistics for key meetings – e.g. check-ins, professional development sessions, and regional principal meetings – involving the Chief Schools Officer, principals, and senior leaders across Uncommon

    Education Requirements:

    • Bachelors Degree

    Experience Requirements:

    • 3-4 years of professional experience preferred in K-12
      • Strong written and communication skills
      • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
      • Strong ability to manage up
      • Receptive to feedback
      • Preferred Skills/Abilities
      • Experience with developing polished presentations in PowerPoint/Google Slides and manipulating data in Excel

    Compensation

    Compensation for this role is between $21.78-$25.67 per hour

    Starting pay is determined using various factors including but not limited to relevant professional experience, education, certifications, and tenure with Uncommon Schools. If you meet all job description requirements, you will likely receive an offer of $22.00 per hour
