    We are recruiting for an effective Regional Vice President of Operations to oversee 30+ after school program locations located throughout California. This person will be directly responsible for ensuring operational excellence while driving growth across all revenue channels. Reporting directly to the COO, this person will manage a team of Regional Managers in creating and maintaining positive relationships with students, parents and stakeholders while staying true to the Company mission vision, values and goals, ultimately creating a world-class after school enrichment program for all students.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Leading a team of managers and communicating company direction, strategy, progress, and bring the company perspective down through the organization, ensuring program excellence through quality control, operating protocols, policies, procedures, and company policies.
    • Collaborating across departments to ensure the successful launch of new school partnerships and continued support of existing partnerships.
    • Tracking of and reporting on activity and results; prospect review to determine viability and if the continued activity is warranted.
    • Managing designated business portfolios and driving business decisions to maximize revenue, customer retention, and acquisition, supporting both internal and external growth within the organization.
    • Select, train, and supervise a team of program managers and ensure development of skills to manage employee relations, counseling, and terminations consistent with Company practices.
    • Leverage talent assessments and the use of review process to establish regional succession plans in order to identify and develop future leaders and achieve a diverse workforce that will bring Company mission and values to life.
    • Create and implement strategies that increase employee engagement, reduce voluntary attrition, grow diversity metrics, implement leadership development and succession planning processes.
    • Assessing annual parent and client surveys and developing strategic plans to address issues identified to improve outcomes.
    • Conducting site visits to ensure safety and quality and look for opportunities for continuous improvement.
    • Driving consistent focus on quality and educational excellence through the regional team.

    The ideal candidate has multi-site leadership experience with direct budget or P&L ownership. This person has a track record of managing a geographically dispersed workforce, with a specific focus on coaching and developing managers and building high-performing teams, by building trust and being collaborative. This person thrives in a fast-paced environment and is able to toggle between the weeds and the clouds, equally comfortable setting strategy and rolling up their sleeves to get the job done, ideally with the following qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent education and experience
    • Experience in education or after-school program space is preferred
    • 8 years of progressive experience in multi-site leadership roles
    • Excellent communication
    • Able to travel up to 40% (in CA)
