    JOB TITLE: Accounting/Bookkeeping Representative

    DEPARTMENT: Accounting Department

    REPORTS TO: Business Analyst

    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Accounting Representative will be working within the Accounting department and will be responsible for processing inbound checks, payable invoice entry, vendor databases, and communicating with clients. Since this position requires interaction with clients of all organizational levels via telephone and email therefore, it is essential that this individual have effective customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Process high volume of inbound check payments, vendor invoices, internal check requests, Expense reports and Mileage checks.

    Ensure all vendors invoices are entered on a timely basis and monthly statements reflect all invoices as such.

    Preparation of daily and weekly check deposits (Both manual and electronic).

    Prepare cash receipt documentation and enter transactions into the accounting system.

    Prepare journal entries (Electronically).

    Handle client and vendor calls and provide timely response for all inquires.

    Participate in month and or year-end closing procedures.

    Void/ Write-off incorrect invoices and cancelled service.

    Enter credits and debits in the accounting system.

    Process Affiliate and Receiver Reports and mail out the reports and checks.

    Process Credit Card Statements and payments.

    Order office supplies and maintain the office supply inventory

    Assist with Collection calls and emails.

    Deliver International Checks to the Bank

    Organizing and Filing of all Accounting documents

    Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
