About the Role:
Join the Alabama Autism Assistance Program as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children with autism. We are seeking passionate individuals to help implement individualized treatment plans and support our mission of fostering growth and development in a nurturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors during sessions.
Assist clients with daily living skills and social interactions.
Provide one-on-one support to children in various settings
Communicate effectively with families and team members regarding client progress.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients at all times.
Adhere to ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards in all interactions.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; RBT certification preferred or in progress.
Experience working with children with autism or related developmental disorders.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Compassionate demeanor and a passion for helping others.
Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Background check clearance required.
