    Employees under the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential must adhere and comply with the job description, requirements, and Code of Ethics as established by the BACB. If at any time an RBT employee no longer meets the eligibility criteria required for the RBT credential or does not maintain their RBT credential, or has their credential revoked, invalidated, suspended, or restricted, their employment will be immediately terminated.

    Job Summary

    The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a critical member of the behavior analysis team, responsible for implementing behavioral interventions and supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to deliver high-quality, evidence-based services.

    Key Responsibilities

    Implement behavioral interventions and strategies as directed by the BCBA

    Collect and record data on client behaviors and skill acquisitions

    Provide support and guidance to individuals with ASD and other developmental disabilities

    Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans

    Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure comprehensive care

    Maintain accurate and timely records of client progress and services delivered

    Participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

    Requirements

    Certifications:

    Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

    Education:

    High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, education, special education) preferred

    Experience:

    Experience working with individuals with ASD and other developmental disabilities preferred

    Experience implementing behavioral interventions and strategies preferred

    Skills:

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    Ability to work effectively in a team environment

    Flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing client needs and priorities

    Strong organizational and time management skills
