    Position Summary

    We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)/QBA/LBA to implement individualized treatment plans, collect data, and support skill acquisition and behavior reduction goals for clients diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.

    Responsibilities

    Implement ABA treatment plans and behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA

    Collect accurate and timely data on client progress, behaviors, and skill acquisition

    Provide 1:1 direct therapy to clients in home, clinic, and/or community settings

    Assist in the development and reinforcement of communication, social, academic, and daily living skills

    Implement behavior reduction strategies for challenging behaviors (e.g., aggression, self-injury, tantrums, non-compliance) under BCBA guidance

    Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging therapeutic environment

    Communicate professionally and collaboratively with BCBAs, caregivers, and other team members

    Complete session notes and documentation daily, in compliance with payor and company guidelines

    Attend required trainings, supervision meetings, and team meetings

    Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines

    Qualifications

    Current RBT certification (required)

    High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate's or Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field (preferred)

    Prior experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities (preferred)

    Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills

    Ability to physically keep up with active children, including sitting, kneeling, and moving quickly if needed

    Reliable transportation (if providing in-home or community-based services)

    CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

    Ability to pass a background check
