Job Description
The RBT will provide one-on-one behavioral interventions to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental disabilities. This position requires providing services in the client's home and office settings. RBTs will be responsible for implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)- based programs designed by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), documenting progress, and participating in collaborative team meetings. This position requires a patient, caring, and adaptable individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of our clients and their families.
Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles under the guidance of BCBAs or BCaBAs.
Assist clients in developing essential life skills and promoting independence.
Collect data on client progress and behavior for ongoing assessment.
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to adjust treatment strategies as needed.
Support clients during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Adhere to the ethical guidelines of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Attend mandatory training and continuing education opportunities.
Communicate regularly with the clinical team regarding client progress and any concerns.
Qualifications A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
A bachelor's degree in psychology, education, social work, or a related field is preferred.
Current RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) is required.
Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to client homes or other settings as required.
Skills Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism.
Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices.
Proficiency in assisting clients with daily living activities.
Understanding of ABA terminology relevant to behavioral health settings.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
Experience in behavioral therapy methods and interventions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Work Environment
The RBT will work in the client's home setting.
Expected hours: 15– 20 per week
