Summary
We are seeking a qualified and caring Registered Dental Assistant to join our team! As a Registered Dental Assistant, you will provide top-notch dental care that makes our clients feel like family. You will provide assistance to the dentist during exams and procedures and complete administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments. The ideal candidate is state-licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) and has at least two years of experience. Responsibilities:
Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
Take vital signs and accurately record medical history
Discuss the dental treatment for the day and answer any questions they have
Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures
Assist dentist during procedures and exams such as: fillings, crowns, root canal, extractions, implants and fixed dentures.
Assist hygienist with perio charting
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
Schedule appointments
Answer phones and assist front desk as needed
Stock rooms daily and follow weekly/monthly checklists
Taking x-rays, Pano and CBCT (3D) scan
Qualifications
Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure
Previous experience as a dental assistant
Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification is required
Strong computer and data entry skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to provide high-quality patient care
