We are a well-established, high-performing general dental practice in the Balboa Park area, looking for a fabulous RDA to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable

Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have

Take vital signs and accurately record medical history

Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures

Assist dentist during procedures and exams

Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies

Schedule appointments

Qualifications

A team player willing to put energy into contributing to the practice

Energetic, authentic and have a passion for dentistry and serving patients

Effective in educating patients about their oral health care

Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure

Comfortable with technology and proficient with Dentrix & CEREC software

Trustworthy and can build rapport with patients and make them feel comfortable and welcome

Have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a dental office.

Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification is required

Strong computer and data entry skills

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to provide high-quality patient care
