    Summary

    We are seeking a qualified and caring, reliable full time Registered Dental Assistant/hygiene assistant closer to join our quality -oriented dental practice in Redlands! As a Registered Dental Assistant, you will provide top-notch dental care that makes our clients feel like family. You will provide clinical assistance to the dentist/hygienist during exams and procedures and complete administrative tasks such as charting/scheduling appointments. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Dentrix, Open dental, Dexis imaging and Medit/itero digital scanning and has at least two years of experience. If you’re friendly, outgoing, and committed to creating a fantastic dental experience, we want to hear from you! Mon 9-6pm, Tues-Thurs 8:30-5pm, some Fridays. Our generous compensation package consists of hourly range form $22-28/hr doe and degree. Opportunity for advancement available with daily, monthly, and yearly bonuses. In addition, we offer continuing educ, CPR, Uniform allowance, possible degree advancement, 5 days pto, vacations, outings, dental care, 401k, profit sharing and pension plan.

    Responsibilities:

    Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable

    Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have

    Take vital signs and accurately record medical history

    Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures

    Assist dentist/hygienist during procedures and exams

    Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies

    Schedule appointments

    Perform accurate and timely charting and documentation

    Manage patient flow and ensure a welcoming stress free experience

    Qualifications

    Associate’s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation

    Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure

    Previous experience as a dental assistant

    Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification is required

    Strong computer and data entry skills including typing at high speeds in a high volume environment as a team member

    Excellent communication skills and customer service skills

    Ability to provide high-quality patient care and able to multitask and be adaptable to changing priorities and challenges

    Be a problem solver: identify and analyze issues, take responsibility and create solutions

    Reliability and punctual at all times

    Excellent organizational skills and able to prioritize while keeping work area clean and well managed
