Responsibilities: • Aid dentists by deliberating the best way to treat a variety of dental disease • Identify dental issues such as periodontitis, gingivitis, or cavities so they can be treated as soon as possible • Keep detailed records of each patient’s visit and update their health history • Make impressions of patients’ teeth to ensure their mouthguards, dentures, etc. are made correctly • Inform patients of all ages about how to care for their teeth by brushing and flossing on a regular basis Qualifications: • Possesses a state license to practice dental hygiene • Able to stand up for long periods of time to administer dental exams and procedures • Current CPR certification • Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills • Understands HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines Compensation: $60 - $75 hourly
