Responsibilities: • Conduct initial screenings for patients to understand their oral health history • Sterilize all dental equipment to make sure everything is properly cleaned • Make patients feel at ease and taken care of before, during, and after the appointment • Protect patients’ teeth by thoroughly cleaning them and applying fluoride or other sealants • Work with dentists to decide the best form of treatment for a variety of dental disease Qualifications: • Licensed to practice as a dental hygienist in the state • Understands HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines • Capable of standing all day to assist patients • Certified to perform CPR • Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills Compensation: $50 - $55 hourly
