Our family-owned private practice is looking for an outgoing, charismatic and enthusiastic Dental Hygienist to join our close-knit team. We are not a big corporation like you see on every corner and strip mall in the Denver metro area. We have a friendly work environment where we strive to be team players! You will not be forced to sell, sell, sell! Our office operates Tuesday through Friday with Mondays off. Our schedule can be very flexible to meet your needs. This is a full time position. Our hours are 8am-5pm expecting staff to be present at least 15 minutes before the first patient. We have well working equipment with sharp instruments and ultrasonic scalers are in both hygiene rooms with plenty of cavitron tips. We serve all demographics of the population, from preschoolers to the elderly, and we operate a steady office with high levels of traffic. The ideal candidate will have a calm, reassuring and friendly demeanor as well as the ability to multitask in a fast-paced atmosphere.

As noted, this job is full time BUT can be VERY FLEXIBLE with these hours.

· Collect medical and dental histories from patients

· Chart dental conditions based on dentist's observations and evaluations

· Sterilize dental instruments and tools

· Instruct patients of all ages on proper dental hygiene and care

· Administer local/topical anesthesia as needed

· Dentrix experience recommended
