About the Role:

Smiles Unlimited is looking for a passionate and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental team in Belton, MO! This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a patient-focused environment where your expertise and care make a real difference every single day.

Responsibilities:

Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing procedures for patients

Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments including periodontal evaluations

Take and review dental X-rays and document findings accurately in patient records

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care

Screen patients for oral cancer, gum disease, and other dental conditions

Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride and dental sealants

Collaborate with the dentist to develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans

Requirements:

Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Missouri

Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program

Current CPR/BLS certification

Experience with dental practice management software preferred

Strong knowledge of periodontal therapy and preventive dental care

Excellent communication and patient relations skills

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work efficiently in a team setting
