Job description

Hanson Family Dental, a local private practice, brand new facility, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our patient centered team.

This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a productive environment. Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of maintaining good dental health.

Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records in Dentrix software.

Assist the dentist during procedures as necessary, providing support with instruments and materials.

Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in ongoing professional development.

Work effectively with patients, creating a comfortable environment for all ages during their visits.

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
