Responsibilities: • Work with dentists to decide the best form of treatment for a variety of dental disease • Protect patients’ teeth by thoroughly cleaning them and applying fluoride or other sealants • Check for issues such as gingivitis, periodontitis, or caries so patients can receive care as soon as the problem is identified • Use x-ray machines to take photos of the patients’ teeth so the dentist can clearly identify cavities or other oral health issues • Conduct initial screenings for patients to understand their oral health history Qualifications: • Has dental hygienist licensure in the state where the job is located • Bachelor’s degree or master's degree in registered dental hygiene program preferred, associate’s degree required • Certified to perform CPR • Physical stamina to stand for up to 8 hours at a time • 1+ years of experience in dental hygiene work Compensation: $67 - $75 hourly
