    Job Summary Killingly Dental Care LLC is seeking a qualified and caring Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team! As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will provide top-notch dental care that makes our clients feel like family. You will screen patients, perform dental cleanings, and assist the dentists with exams. Our office has been completely renovated, updated, and equipped with all the latest technology (nitrous, internal messaging with BlueNote, Primescan, CEREC, 3D CBCT/Pan/CEPH, etc) for you to provide the highest quality care to our large and very active patient base. If you have a passion for Complete Health Dentistry and are looking to work alongside other equally caring and committed hygienists, general dentists, and specialists, we want to hear from you! The ideal candidate is state licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist and has at least two years of experience, anesthesia certified to provide a comfortable SRP appointment.     Responsibilities

    Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable

    Utilize our systems in place to establish an effective and efficient workflow

    Perform recare visits and PMTs within in 60 minutes, SRPs and New Patients within 90 minutes

    Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have

    Prep sterilized equipment along side our sterilization lead assistant

    Take vital signs and accurately record medical histories

    Perform preliminary exams and collect oral health histories

    Evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection

    Remove plaque and apply fluoride treatments

    Teach proper oral hygiene techniques

    Take radiographs and intra-oral photos

    Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies

    Qualifications

    Associate’s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred

    Current Dental Hygienist licensure

    At least 1-3 years of experience in dental hygiene

    Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines

    Able to stand for extended periods and bend repeatedly

    Excellent communication and customer service skills
