Grace Health is looking for a dedicated team-member to work full-time at our Battle Creek location. The schedule would be Monday - Thursday from 7:30 am-6:30 pm or Monday - Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm. and provide preventive, educational and therapeutic dental hygiene services to all dental patients.

$1,500 Sign-on bonus ($750 after successful completion of your probationary period and $750 after 6 months).

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: (This list is not all inclusive.)

1. Provides preventive, educational and therapeutic dental hygiene services to all dental patients of Grace Health, under the general supervision of a dentist and consistent with Michigan's Dental Practice Act.
2. Seats and dismisses patients.
3. Assists with maintenance, cleaning, set-up and sterilization of equipment and supplies when possible.
4. Assists with inventory and ordering of supplies.
5. Assists dentist as needed.
6. Maintains current and accurate dental records for each patient.

8. Participates in OSHA compliance and monitoring
9. Practices universal precautions.

REQUIREMENTS

Education: High school diploma or GED. Graduation from an accredited school of dental hygiene

Experience: One year of experience, preferably in a dental office setting

Licensure: Licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist

Certification: Certification in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide preferred, Current BCLS certification
