Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients.

Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.

Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.

Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate dental records.

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as required.

Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations.

Manage patient scheduling and follow-up appointments effectively.

Build rapport with patients to ensure a comfortable dental experience.

Requirements:

Valid Oregon State Dental Hygienist license.

Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene or equivalent.

Experience in a dental practice is preferred but not required.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Proficient in dental software and technology.

Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
