We're searching for a personable dental hygienist to join our talented team of healthcare providers! You will conduct patients' initial hygiene screenings, perform thorough dental cleanings, and assist Dr. Greenhalgh with examinations and creating treatment plans. Applicants should have incredible interpersonal skills and a passion for providing excellent dental services. This is a position where you have the opportunity to change lives with your knowledge. Dr. Greenhalgh encourages his dental hygienist to use their education and treat the patient as needed. This is a part-time position, 2-3 days a week. We are located in Lakewood, conveniently located off of 285 and Wadsworth. We look forward to hearing from you! Responsibilities: • Give guidance to patients about how to have good dental care at home after undergoing an operation or procedure • Keep detailed records of each patient’s visit and update their health history • Talk to patients and make sure they feel comfortable and taken care of before, during, and after the examination • Examine patients’ dental health and get an overview of their oral health history • Assist dentists with determining the best treatment plan for all kinds of dental diseases Qualifications: • Associate’s degree and certification in dental hygiene program required, higher levels of education are highly valued • Licensed to practice as a dental hygienist in the state • Current CPR certification • Clear understanding and commitment to following HIPAA regulations and all safety guidelines Compensation: $64 - $67 hourly
