Job Description
As a Dialysis Registered Dietitian , you'll be responsible for:
Assessing and educating patients on their diet, kidney disease, and how nutrition impacts their treatment.
Providing detailed, patient-specific education on lab results, fluid status, and nutritional needs to patients, families, and caregivers.
Conducting comprehensive nutritional assessments and helping to develop individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
Creating and adjusting diet prescriptions according to standard practice.
Communicating with physicians and facility staff about lab results and recommended treatment changes.
Participating in staff and care plan meetings to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
Qualifications
EDUCATION & LICENSURE
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
Minimum of 1 year professional work experience in clinical nutrition as a Registered Dietitian.
_ Previous renal experience required_.
Demonstrated leadership competencies and skills for the position, including ability to teach, strong organizational skills, excellent communication, customer service, relationship development, results orientation, team building and decision making. Able to perform responsibilities with minimum supervision.
Basic computer skills required.
