Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) – Flexible Monthly Schedule – Brooklyn

A modern community-based private medical practice located in Bushwick, Brooklyn is seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to join our collaborative care team on a consulting basis.

This opportunity is ideal for a dietitian looking for flexible supplemental work while collaborating with nurse practitioners in a beautiful, newly built outpatient medical office focused on preventive care and chronic disease management.

POSITION DETAILS

Location: Bushwick, Brooklyn, NY

Schedule: 1–2 days per month (flexible scheduling)

Compensation: $40–$45 per hour, based on experience

Setting: Outpatient private practice / primary care clinic

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide medical nutrition therapy and individualized nutrition counseling

Educate patients on nutrition related to diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular health, weight management, metabolic health, and preventive nutrition

Collaborate with nurse practitioners and clinical staff to support patient care plans

Document visits appropriately in the electronic medical record

Provide culturally sensitive, patient-centered counseling

QUALIFICATIONS

Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) – Required

Active New York State licensure/certification (or eligibility)

Comfortable working with children, adults, and geriatric patients

Strong patient education and communication skills

Experience in outpatient, primary care, or community health settings preferred

Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
