About the Role:

Candis Inc in Roanoke, VA is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Medication Aide to join our caring team. Responsibilities:

Administer prescribed medications to residents accurately and in accordance with state regulations and facility policies

Document medication administration and report any changes in resident condition to nursing staff

Monitor residents for medication side effects, adverse reactions, and overall well-being

Maintain accurate medication records and ensure proper storage and handling of medications

Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide compassionate resident care

Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary care team members

Adhere to all infection control, safety, and compliance standards

Requirements:

Active Registered Medication Aide (RMA) certification in the state of Virginia

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred

Prior experience in a long-term care, assisted living, or residential care setting preferred

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow medication administration protocols

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative care team

Compassionate, patient-centered approach to resident care
