Join SarahCare at Riverdale Place Adult Day Health Center as the Registered Nurse where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our adult participants. Be part of a compassionate team dedicated to providing exceptional care and support in a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Supervise Nursing staff and Assistants.

Coordinate with external healthcare providers and specialists, as necessary.

Participant in developing and implementing Individual Care Plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

Manage the administration of medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies.

Manage the appropriate disposal of expired/discontinued medications.

Administer emergency CPR/First Aid as needed.

Document necessary medical observations and daily record keeping.

Update participant’s medication orders, treatments, and medical questionnaires as required.

Document Administrative Reports as needed.

Provide skilled nursing duties as required.

Monitor participant’s vital signs as required.

Conduct staff in-service/education on relevant topics as required.

Participate in assessment and Person-Centered Plan of Care conferences as required.

Attend interdisciplinary meetings and ensure follow up.

Participate in staff meetings, in-service training, group discussions, and other relevant training.

Request supplies and items needed for nursing through the Executive Director.

Participate in activities as needed.

Ability to safely lift and transfer.

Assist wound care and dressing changes for participants with injuries or surgical wounds as needed.

Comply with all HIPAA and confidentiality requirements.

Responsible for environmental safety and sanitation.

Always follow Standard Precautions.

All other jobs and duties as required.

Requirements:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a geriatric or adult day health setting.

Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Compassionate demeanor with a passion for caring for adults.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) and documentation.

Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
