    Job Description

    AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center – Mainland Campus is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – CVOR to provide nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room. The RN will perform cardiovascular scrub duties and support cardiac, vascular, thoracic, general, and robotic surgical procedures.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Provide nursing care in the CVOR, General OR, and Hybrid OR.
    • Perform cardiovascular scrub duties.
    • Scrub for cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and general surgical procedures.
    • Support procedures including CABG, TAVR, LVAD/RVAD, TEVAR, VATS, and aortic aneurysm repair.
    • Handle surgical equipment, instrumentation, supplies, and specimens.
    • Follow infection control and Universal Protocol/Time-Out procedures.
    • Work collaboratively with the surgical and interdisciplinary teams.
    • May be required to float between AtlantiCare City and Mainland campuses based on staffing needs.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience required.
    • Cardiovascular scrub experience required.
    • Experience with cardiac, vascular, thoracic, general, and robotic surgery.
    • Experience in CVOR, General OR, and Hybrid OR environments.
    • Active New Jersey RN License or Compact License required at submission.
    • BLS and ACLS certifications required , both accepted only through American Heart Association (AHA).
    • Certifications must be included with submission.
    • Cerner PowerChart/SurgiNet experience required.
    • Travel experience is not required.
    • Like experience may be considered with 1+ years of experience.
