Cardiac Cath Lab & Electrophysiology RN
Location : Decatur, GA (Atlanta Metro)
Schedule : 4x10s (Mon–Fri | 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
Duration : Contract | July 2025 – September 2027
Pay : Up to $50+/hr (all-inclusive)
Now hiring an experienced RN to join a high-performance Cardiology team serving U.S. Veterans in a federal facility.
You'll be on the frontlines of life-saving cardiac procedures—working in a fast-paced environment with cutting-edge equipment, skilled providers, and patients who've served our country.
What You'll Do:
- Assist with Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology procedures
- Support pacemaker, defibrillator, IABP, and Impella setups
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
- Administer IVs, perform arterial/venous draws
- Interpret and respond to 12-lead EKGs and hemodynamic data
- Document in CPRS, CART-CL, and WITT systems
- Implement ACLS in emergency scenarios
What You'll Need:
- Active, unrestricted RN license (any U.S. state)
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing ( BSN )
- 3+ years in ICU , Cath Lab , or equivalent high-acuity environment
- Experience within the last 6 months in a critical care setting
- BLS & ACLS (AHA certified)
- Moderate Sedation Certification
Bonus Points for:
- CCRN (Critical Care Certification)
- Master's in Nursing or Healthcare
- Familiarity with cardiac assistive technologies (e.g., Impella , Rotoblator )
- VA or government facility experience
