Position Overview

The hospital is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse to provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and other cardiovascular procedures. The ideal candidate should have previous cardiac or critical care experience and be comfortable working in a specialized procedural environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after cardiac procedures.

• Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and other cardiovascular interventions.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and hemodynamic status.

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

• Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety.

• Recognize and respond to cardiac emergencies and complications.

• Provide post-procedure monitoring and patient education.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.

• At least 1 year of acute care nursing experience; 2 years preferred.

• Previous Cath Lab experience strongly preferred.

• Cardiac, ICU, or other critical care experience is an advantage.

• Knowledge of cardiac monitoring and cardiovascular procedures.

• Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond to emergencies.
