    _ We are currently looking to hire Chemotherapy Registered Nurses in the Charleston, SC area._

    Location: Charleston, SC.

    Shifts: (Weekdays, weekends, and holidays required).

    • 7:30am-4:00pm.
    • 8:00am-4:30pm.
    • 8:30am-5:00pm.

    Qualifications:

    • All Registered Nurses must have a current license in any state, territory, or commonwealth in the US or District of Columbia.
    • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with a bachelor's in nursing.
    • Preferred to have completed the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC) and competency requirements outlined in the Dimensions of Nursing Practice.
    • Must have, at a minimum, completed the Oncology Nursing Society Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration Course.
    • Must possess and maintain BLS certification.
    • Must have a minimum of two-years' experience (must have worked within the last six months) performing immunotherapy and/or chemotherapy on patients in an Infusion Suite.

    Responsibilities:

    • Identifies physiological, psychological, social, and environmental variables affecting the functional status of the chemotherapy/infusion patient.
    • Assesses, monitors, and treats patient response to antineoplastic and/or immunotherapy treatments and hematology/oncology related health problems.
    • Responsible for administering, monitoring, documenting, and evaluating interventions and treatments provided in the Chemotherapy/Infusion Suite and/or related to hematologic/oncologic related problems.
    • Develop teaching plans based on individualized patient needs, discusses patient concerns, and answers questions relevant to care.
    • Plans alternative interventions for patients with unique needs.
