MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL

Job Title: RN – Behavioral Health – Masters Degree

Rate: Up to $2300.00 weekly

Location: St. Charles, IL

Evening Shift (8H) - (3P-11P) - 8 week contract

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Master’s degree Required

Experience

• One (1) to three (3) years in specialty required.

Licenses/Certifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
• AHA BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conducting Assessments: Evaluating the mental health needs of inmates to develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Providing Therapy: Offering individual and group counseling sessions to address emotional and psychological issues.
• Developing Treatment Plans: Creating comprehensive rehabilitation plans tailored to the needs of offenders.
• Managing Mental Health Conditions: Diagnosing and treating mental illnesses and behavioral disorders among inmates.
• Assist with staff training and evaluations and conduct regular meetings to identify problems and propose solutions.
• Maintain a professional and high standard of patient care and attend institutional staff meetings as directed.
