    Position Summary

    The Registered Nurse (RN) at Edge Integrative Wellness plays a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care across clinical, administrative, and procedural functions. This role supports providers through advanced integrative therapies, diagnostic testing, patient communication, medical documentation, and operational readiness. The RN collaborates closely with medical providers, front desk staff, and medical assistants to ensure exceptional patient experiences, clinical safety, and operational efficiency.

    Core Responsibilities

    Clinical Care

    ● Perform IV therapy, ozone therapy, venipuncture, and assist with regenerative treatments (Prolozone, peptides).

    ● Prepare and compound clinical syringes (heparin, Prolozone, lidocaine, peptides).

    ● Conduct diagnostic testing including urinalysis, nitric oxide testing, VCS testing, InBody scans, and Live Blood Analysis.

    ● Perform SoftWave treatments and assist with equipment maintenance.

    ● Monitor patients during and after treatments; provide post-care instructions.

    Charting & Documentation

    ● Accurately document all encounters, procedures, test results, and treatment plans in the EMR.

    ● Prepare new patient intake documentation including medical history and treatment goals.

    ● Fulfill medical record requests in compliance with HIPAA.

    Prescriptions, Labs & Authorizations

    ● Process prescription refills per provider protocols.

    ● Create and manage lab and diagnostic imaging orders.

    ● Track results, coordinate follow-ups, and assist with prior authorizations as needed.

    Patient Communication & Clinic Support

    ● Respond to patient inquiries via phone, portal, and email within clinic response standards.

    ● Educate patients on testing, treatments, and aftercare.

    ● Maintain supply inventory, prepare rooms, and assist with clinic flow.

    ● Support front desk and medical assistant duties as needed.

    RN-Specific Expectations

    ● Independently perform specialized integrative procedures.

    ● Comfortable cross-covering MA and front desk roles.

    ● Maintain strong clinical judgment in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

    Required Qualifications

    ● Active RN license in good standing.

    ● 2+ years of clinical experience preferred (outpatient, infusion, or procedural experience valued).

    ● Proficiency in IV insertion and venipuncture.

    ● Strong EMR documentation skills.

    ● Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.

    Preferred Experience

    ● Integrative, functional, or regenerative medicine.

    ● Ozone therapy, peptide therapy, Prolozone, or IV nutrients.

    ● Live blood microscopy, InBody, or VCS testing.

    ● Prior experience with labs and insurance authorizations.
