Job Summary
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will primarily be creating and managing a plan of care for the six residents and providing weekly resident assessments. We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) who pays attention to detail, has a big heart, takes pride in creating personalized care plans, is able to do thorough weekly assessments on residents, is able to train staff on policies and procedures and is able to communicate effectively with families, staff, other health care providers and the administrator. To succeed, you should demonstrate knowledge and skill in current nursing practices and be able to solve problems.
Responsibilities
Be able to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans
Follow up on physician's orders
Document any changes in patient conditions and report on changes
Maintain accurate records of patient care and discuss observations with supervisor
Provide training to staff
Do RN assessments on the residents when the other RN is gone and follow up on needed medical care
Provide staff training
Be on call periodically
Qualifications
Currently licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in California
Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred, but not required
Excellent interpersonal and client care skills
Valid driver’s license
First aid/CPR certification required
Computer skills
Be able to pass a Livescan background check and drug test
Good organizational/teaching skills
