Registered Nurse - Long-Term Care Facility

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at our nursing home facility. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.

Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor residents' health conditions, including vital signs, symptoms, and changes in status
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for each resident, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Coordinate and oversee resident care, including delegating tasks to nursing assistants and monitoring their performance
- Provide emotional support and comfort to residents and their families
- Educate residents about their health conditions and promote preventive care practices
- Communicate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation

Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of New Jersey
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a long-term care setting
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of the principles of geriatric nursing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- CPR certification
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
