Position Title: RN Emergency Department/ Emergency Room Location: Spencer, IA 51301

Shift: Nights 6:45p-7:15a; Holiday and weekends rotation (2 weekends in a 6 week block)

Duration: Contract 13 weeks (Extension Possible) Compensation Details: Pay Rate: $67.15/ hour

Job Responsibilities:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care

The nurse assumes the responsibility for the outcome of nursing care during a specified work period

The nurse collaborates with all available nursing personnel to provide total patient care

The nurse has knowledge of and utilizes appropriate age-related patient protocols relating to the physical and psychological needs of patients

Job Requirements:

IA RN license

Previous ED or ICU critical care experience or at least one year of Med/Surg experience required

BLS, and ACLS are required in-house education available

Must have or acquire in the first year ACLS, TNCC, PALS, BLS, NCI and HAZMAT

Job Schedule:

12 hour NIGHTS - 6:45p-7:15a

Holiday and weekends rotation (2 weekends in a 6 week block)

The schedule may fluctuate based upon needs of the department
