Responsibilities

Assess the skills of in-home caregiver job candidates, onboard and train all caregivers prior to working with their client

Provide ongoing training, annual in-services and be proactive in ensuring all caregivers are properly trained on equipment and safety procedures

Responsible for client assessments, developing care plans and conducting supervisory visits.

Qualifications

Current Massachusetts RN License

Minimum of 5 years of experience at the RN level at a hospital or other healthcare facility, home care experience is a plus but not required

Ability to develop care plans for seniors

Supervisory experience preferred

This position will include being part of an on-call rotation

An RN with existing contacts to client referral sources is a plus.

The Registered Nurse will start as a 20 hour per week role with the opportunity to grow into a full-time, salaried position as Director of Nursing

Hours split between on-site responsibilities at the office located at 1208 VFW Parkway, West Roxbury, MA and performing in-home assessments with clients within a 6-mile radius of the office.
