Qualifications
Licensure: Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing.
Leadership: At least 1 year of supervisory or training/teaching experience.
Supervisory experience with Home Health Aides (at least 6 months required)
Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing (required).
Other Requirements:
Willingness to become an approved/certified CNA Instructor.
Must pass a Level II background check and submit to random drug testing.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with CTA’s nursing and executive team to design and update program curricula.
Lead training classes for CHHA, CNA, and Medication Technician certifications (with opportunity to assist in Phlebotomy training if desired).
Proctor and grade exams, evaluate student performance, and determine certification eligibility.
Mentor and guide students, fostering both technical skills and professional confidence.
Maintain instructional materials, classroom resources, and program documentation
Collaborate with leadership and staff on program operations, events, and organizational initiatives
Participate in ongoing professional development to remain current with healthcare and education standards
Provide occasional support in related clinical, administrative, supervisory, or operational functions based on organizational needs
Contribute to interdisciplinary projects, staff development, or affiliated healthcare services when applicable
About Us Care Training Academy (CTA) is a growing healthcare education institution currently offering Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) training and CPR/BLS certification programs designed to prepare compassionate, skilled care providers for immediate workforce opportunities. As we continue to expand, CTA is actively developing additional allied health programs—including Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Medication Technician, Phlebotomy, and other career-focused certifications—to broaden our impact and create more pathways for student success.
