    Job Title: RN - Labor & Delivery

    Rate: Up to $2900.00 weekly

    Location: Beverly, MA

    Night Shift w/ EOW

    Key Responsibilities

    Monitoring Maternal and Fetal Well-being: Labor and delivery nurses continuously assess the health of both the mother and the fetus during labor. This includes monitoring vital signs, fetal heart rates, and labor progress to identify any potential complications.

    Assisting with Childbirth: They play a crucial role during the delivery process, providing hands-on support to the mother, assisting with positioning, and administering medications as needed. They also help ensure a safe and sterile environment for the birth.

    Patient Education and Support: Labor and delivery nurses educate expectant mothers and their families about the birthing process, pain management options, and newborn care. They provide emotional support and guidance throughout labor and delivery.

    Postpartum Care: After delivery, these nurses assist with the immediate care of the newborn and monitor the mother's recovery. They help with breastfeeding initiation and provide information on postpartum recovery.

    Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Labor and delivery nurses work closely with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a safe and positive birth experience. They communicate any changes in the patient's condition and collaborate on care plans.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Education

    • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

    Experience

    • Prefer a minimum of five (5) years labor & delivery experience
    • EPIC experience required
    • Comfortability in the OR preferred

    Licenses/Certifications

    • Have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment.
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
