Position Overview

Join a state-of-the-art 288-bed hospital serving Leon and Gadsden Counties as a Med-Surg Ortho Registered Nurse. In this role, you will care for patients with a mix of medical and orthopedic surgical needs , collaborating closely with an experienced and compassionate interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and gather essential clinical data.

• Advocate for patient safety and quality outcomes across all care interactions.

• Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, and procedures.

• Ensure efficient resource utilization and adherence to clinical standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience (acute care preferred; LTAC experience acceptable).

• Active Florida RN license or eligibility to obtain.

• BLS required upon hire.

• ACLS preferred (required within 6 months).

• BSN preferred.

Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:5 – 1:6
