R.S.M.C. Services, on behalf of our client, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical Float Pool in Nashville, TN.

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical Float Pool
Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: 36 Hours per Week
Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in the Medical-Surgical Float Pool. The RN will provide high-quality patient care across five Med/Surg units and float to the Emergency Room as needed. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients (18+) in a general Med/Surg setting
• Float between five Med/Surg units as assigned
• Float to ER when required
• Maintain safe patient ratios of 1:1–1:6
• Accurately document patient care using Cerner EMR
• Work required weekends as scheduled
• Follow unit-based scheduling assignments

Requirements:

• Active Tennessee RN license or Compact License (required at submission)
• Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Strong adaptability and clinical judgment
