Job Title: RN – Medical Surgical

Rate: Up to $1525.00 weekly

Location: Stockbridge, GA

Day Shift (12H)

Education

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years Med/surg experience

Licenses/Certifications

• Have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of Georgia.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain BLS & NIHSS certification, ACLS and CPI preferred.

General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Patient Diagnoses include Appendicitis, Cholecystitis, Small Bowel Obstruction, Pneumonia, COPD exacerbation, Sepsis, HTN, hypo/hyperglycemia, Prostatectomy, Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Ostomy creation/reversal, Exploratory Lap, Bowel resections; Equipment to include NGT, chest tubes, Feeding tubes and wound vacs

Key Responsibilities

• Assessing and monitoring patient health conditions.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Creating and implementing individualized patient care plans.
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to plan and evaluate patient care.
• Educating patients and their families about health conditions and post-discharge care.
• Assist with diagnostic tests, provide pre- and post-operative care, and monitor vital signs.
