Job Description

Schedule: Typical hours are 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m., plus 1 to 2 call shifts per week. Call-back response time is 30 minutes.

How you’ll contribute:

A Registered Nurse who excels in this role:

• Performs thorough pre-, intra-, and post-operative assessments to ensure safe patient care
• Anticipates the needs of the surgical team and supports efficient workflow
• Provides age- and procedure-appropriate nursing care throughout the perioperative process
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation in the medical record
• Collaborates with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists to deliver high-quality outcomes

What we’re looking for?

• Current North Carolina State License or Compact License with North Carolina endorsement.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 90 days of hire
• Associate’s degree in nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2+ years of Surgery and Operating Room Circulating RN experience required
